Hrithik Roshan visited Salman before he left for US

Hrithik Roshan was in Juhu to launch the first promo of Agneepath. After the launch, he went to Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Hrithik wanted to wish Salman luck with his treatment in the US. The two actors spent over two hours together.

Salman’s business manager Vikas Kapoor confirmed the visit to Mumbai Mirror.

Previously, Salman and Hrithik had a fall-out of sorts over Guzaarish. Salman had commented on the film, saying, “Koi Kutta bhi nahi gaya dekhne.” Hrithik, the lead actor of the film had retorted, “It’s not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker. In my opinion, a hero never gloats. When you are super successful, it should in fact make you more gracious and loving.”

Abhay Deol not to act in Ek Chalis Ki Last Local sequel

Bollywood actor Abhay Deol is believed to be an experimental actor and with the types of films he has chosen for himself to act is good enough to vouch for his tendency. There are reports that the Ek Chalis Ki Last Local fame actor is going to be missing in the sequel of this film, which is all set to go on the floors very time soon.

Director of Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Sanjay Khanduri, is all set to work upon the sequel of this film. Sanjay Khanduri said, “I have just finished the scripting, and I haven't really sat down on the casting. So I can't really say if Abhay will be part of the film”.

Rumor has it that, Abhay Deol who was part of Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, was one of the first ones to know about the sequel and was extremely excited about the idea. But a close source to the actor has informed, “It has been a few years since the first film and a lot has changed”.

There are reports that the sequel will be made with a much larger budget as compared with its prequel. The story of the sequel will also confront with several changes and there are many different aspects to the story too.

Will Aamir Khan play the role of Anna Hazare?

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan who is popularly known as Mr. Perfectionist is rumored to play the role of social activist Anna Hazare. There are reports that the actor is much inspired from Anna Hazare and his message of anti-corruption.

It is interesting to note that Anna and his views has not just caught the imagination of ordinary citizens but it has also inspired the biggies in nation and Aamir Khan is one of them. There is a buzz in B-Town that Prakash Jha is planning to make a film on the Anna Hazare movement with Amitabh Bachchan.

Madhu Mantena is also in talks as he has purchased the rights of an old Telugu film that revolves around the anti-corruption theme. The film is titled as Tagore and showcases south star Chiranjeevi as an anti-corruption crusader.

Mantena said, “I love the title and I love the message of the film. I think it's far more relevant today than it was when it was made seven years ago. I can't talk about the casting. It's too early”. Actor Aamir Khan is also inclined towards this Anna Hazare movement and he was there at Ramlila Maidan to urge Anna Hazare to end his fast.

He said, “Anna has not eaten for 12 days...I am worried about you. In everyone's heart, there is concern for you. This will be a long process, and we need Anna's leadership for our struggle”.

Well, seems like Anna has even given a new subject to Bollywood

Ranbir Kapoor’s 'Rockstar' first look fails to impress

The web is abuzz with the Rockstar first look; the poster unlike the first looks of other contemporary film, features a painting of Ranbir Kapoor’s rockstar image from the movie. But is it genuine first look of Rockstar!

A few days back the fake first look of Akshay Kumar’s Rowdy Rathod, a much convincing work by a designer, also did the rounds. It was created so well that soon the first look spread like wild fire on forums and fan sites. When actress Sonakshi Sinha wrote on twitter that it’s a fake only then the users understood that they have been deceived by a smart aleck.

Likewise, the Rockstar first look too seems like a nicely done photoshopped job, but it has been lapped up by everyone and is also on the film’s Facebook page. If it indeed is the official first look, then it fails to impress. It features a water-coloured version of Ranbir as a rockstar, dressed in a sherwani kind of jacket, salwar and a qawwal topi.

The first trailer of Rockstar will be out with the movie Bodyguard which is releasing on Eid.

Bubbly girl Preity Zinta is in high praises for Hrithik Roshan’s highly sculpted body in Karan Johar’s Agneepath. Preity has worked with Hrithik in the film titled Koi Mil Gaya and the actress shares a close bond with the star.

Preity has openly expressed her views about the poster of Agneepath and she wrote on the micro blogging site, praising about the poster and wishing luck to the director of this film, Karan Johar. Preity wrote, “KJO! Saw Hrithik's look in Agneepath & what can I say except its rocking & Drool Drool! All the best 4 this 1 :-) Ting!”

After her break up with Ness Wadia, Preity is not much inclined towards films and was last seen a way long back acting on the big screen but the actress is continuously active on the small screen. Preity was seen hosting a television show at colors and now she will host a chat show on a new channel UTV Stars.

Her chat show is titled as Up, Close and personal with PZ and her first guest is Salman Khan. The first look of the movie displays Hrithik wearing a red vest, jeans and a bandana, which reads Govinda Mahautsav.

Soon Salman to fly to US for a surgery

These days Salman Khan is in high relief from the movies point of view as his two back to back movies Dabangg and Ready shaked whole Bollywood. Now he has Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger in his fist. At the same time, the actor is suffering from a deep pain also. Here we are talking about some physical pain.

Soon he will fly to US to treat Trigeminal Neuralgia, a facial nerve disorder that he is having from since the last seven years. As per some sources close to actor he will go for surgery either on Saturday or Sunday.

"I am suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a facial nerve problem I have had since the last seven years. But now, it's getting worse. Ab dard hadd se paar ho gaya hai and I am going to kill it," Salman told.

For his angiography which he underwent in July, he told, “Yes I did get an angiography done about a month ago. But it was not for the heart - it was meant to detect this disease. There is a flex and hoarseness in my voice, it's not because I am drunk ... I don't drink during Ramadan ... it's because of this ailment.”

We wish Salman to get well soon before his most awaited Bodyguard’s release.

Anil Kapoor is all set to play the role of encounter specialist

Anil Kapoor is all set to essay the role of an encounter specialist in his upcoming film. He will be playing the role of a cop and the character will be named as Isaque Bhagwan in the film directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film will be titled as Shootout At Wadala.

Anil is preparing very hard to essay this role and for this he is planning to visit various locations in Mumbai where the actual incidents took place.

There are reports that the film is largely based on Hussain Zaidi's book, Dongri To Dubai.

Zaidi’s book describe about the encounter of dreaded gangster Manya Surve who was killed in an encounter by Bhagwan in the '80s. There are plans to obtain correctness in the location and character, for the roles played by Anil and John Abraham. John Abraham plays the role Manya Surve. To obtain this correctness they will rely upon the super-cop's real-life experiences.

It is interesting to note that Bhagwan has agreed to be a part of the film. Director of this film, Sanjay Gupta, has also confirmed the news and said, “Isaque is on board actively. He is helping us identify and match the places in Mumbai that still resemble the Bombay of the 1970s”.

Sanjay said, “Surprisingly, many places in the city that have not changed in 30 years! Those that have changed we're going to reconstruct in the suburbs of Pune”.

Well, its time for some action!

John Abraham, the hottest dude of Bollywood is all set to play the role of a desi gangster soon. Yeah you can catch him in this avatar in the next part of Shoot out at Wadala.

Ae Ganpat Chal Daru La has stayed on to be a huge chartbuster over the years. Both Ekta Kapoor as well as Sanjay Gupta has been quite keen to use this song also as a franchise element in Shoot out at Wadala.

So this time around it would be titled Ae Ganpat Chal Wapas Aa-a full-on reloaded version that will be picturized on John Abraham.

Previously everyone saw Vivek Oberoi playing this tapori kind, but now John is all ready to play this again and in fact the makers of the film are fully confident that John will justify with this type of character.

"I have directed him in Zinda so I know he can deliver goods. In fact we all are quite excited to see him play 'Manya Surve'. And trust me; it would be a riot when John would be seen on screen in his Ae Ganpat Chal Wapas Aa avatar. Mika has promised that this one is going to be a much madder version. As for John's overall look, then that has been taken care of," said Sanjay Gupta.

Well, you guys are gonna get a sure feel of watching some B-grade skin flick once you come across this first poster of the much talked about film of town, The Dirty Picture.

Taking a look at this poster where Vidya Balan has been showcased in the skimpy blouse can make anyone feel the heat. We were already reported that the film is based on south siren Silk Smitha and will see Vidya showing off her sensuous side never seen before.

The film also claims to have some intense and bold scenes shot between the lead pairs. And this poster clearly justifies the concept and gives us a strong feel that there is a lot more to watch out in this film. Director Milan Luthria also seems to have vowed to startle us with this movie with the different ways he has adopted in making this film.

Silk Smitha was all the rage in the ’80s and ’90s for her unrestrained display of sexuality. Nobody was aware of her troubled personal life before Luthria came up with the idea of making a film on her. Soha Ali Khan stands in support of Anna Hazare against Anti Corruption

Corruption is one issue on which whole of India is standing together in support of Anna Hazare. Be it a common man or a celebrity, it’s the issue of which each and every Indian is tired of. Today it’s the tenth day Of Anna’s anti corruption movement but still government is acting like as nothing has happened.

Celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher, and Om Puri stood in support of Anna, now it’s Soha Ali Khan who completely admires Anna and wants media to educate common people about Jan Lokpal Bill. She says, "I think that the issue of corruption is one that we are all have a united stand against.

The media should educate the public about the details of the Jan Lokpal Bill so that the people can make an informed decision whether to support it in part, entirely or not at all. Anna Hazare has done wonderful things for this country.

To imprison him and try to malign him comes across as a desperate attempt of distraction. There are many who support him - the voice of the people cannot and should not be ignored - the government should take this opportunity to address grievances seriously."

Well said Soha, it’s really a good message, hope government would soon listen us as Anna.

Force is impressing Hollywood with its looks

It’s after a long time that the hunk of town, John Abraham will be seen in action that too in an unseen avatar! Soon we will get to see him in the action thriller Force where he will be seen romancing the chirpy Genelia D’Souza for the very first time.

The film is yet to release but it has already created a rage among all owing to its amazing action sequences. Sources say that the film is bagging the attention from everywhere; in fact, Hollywood too seems to be getting impressed by John’s incredible look in Force.

Critics say that the film will set a new record in Bollywood, the action-romance film Force has invested a whopping 3.5 crore (£470,000) for its breathtaking action sequences, helping action director Allan Amin to push cinematic boundaries further with his death-defying stunts.

A source said, “John has engaged in a grueling filming schedule including an eight month training programme which helped him achieve his jaw-dropping eight pack physique, so much so that his producer friend called to tell him that Hollywood's ace stunt director JJ Perry was extremely impressed by John and expressed a desire to work with him”.

Reports say that JJ Perry, who has trained Hollywood stars such as Sylvester Stallone for the film Headshot, will soon train Bollywood hunk John. Force is said to release in cinemas in the UK and worldwide on 30th September 2011 through Twentieth Century Fox. So don’t give this Force a miss!

Amitabh To Act In A Film Based On Anna Hazare’s Protest Against Corruption

If you thought the whole Aarakshan experience would put off filmmaker Prakash Jha and actor Amitabh Bachchan from taking on the issue of corruption in Indian politics, think again!

Their next collaboration Satyagraha scheduled to go on the floors in January will address the ethos of a peaceful mass protest against corruption, an issue currently occupying much of the Indian middle class mind space thanks to Anna Hazare.

Cautious about revealing details on what sources close to Jha describe as his most hard-hitting film on politics and corruption in India, the filmmaker says, “I am at the moment working on the script of Satyagraha.

The actor will team up again with Jha to take on corruption in Indian politics.

It is about peaceful protest, though not on a pan India level. The cast is yet to be finalised, but Bachchan saab will be in the film.”

Apparently, Big B will play a Hazare-styled crusader who will take on the establishment in his fight against corruption.

The script, we hear, has gone into revision keeping in mind the charged socio-political mood of the Indian population.

However, there will be a big fundamental difference. Explains Jha, “The upsurge of mass protest against corruption that Anna Hazare has generated is indeed unprecedented and remarkable. However, what bothers me is that only one opinion is prevailing in this movement towards eradicating corruption, and that could damage the whole noble purpose of the protest. It is the Lok Pal bill the way Anna Hazare saab wills it to be, or not at all. There has to be a less hardline approach to a matter as deep-rooted as corruption. Also, the fight against corruption should be more focused and specific in its motivation. For instance, why not start by simply campaigning against anyone giving or taking a bribe?”

Bachchan’s character in Satyagraha will have plenty of elements of Hazare, but the film will make a marked departure from the ideology of an autonomous movement.

The protagonist takes on corruption at the state, not national level.

“Isn’t that the way my films and protagonists always are? I think it’s important for any movement to be rooted to a specific population. It’s the only way it can be effective,” says Jha. Source

Liplock between Sonam and Shahid in Mausam

“There is no kissing scene in Mausam.” Sonam Kapoor had said earlier. There was a time when Sonam was not exactly on friendly terms with Shahid. Apparently when Pankaj Kapur, director of the film had informed Sonam about the kiss, she had put her foot down. Her refusal created drama on the sets.
Kapur had even called up her father Anil Kapoor in desperation. But to no avail. Finally the actor succumbed to the director’s demand.

Now that all the strife and uncertainty is in the past, Sonam told Mumbai Mirror about the kiss: “Jitna hona chahiye tha, utna hi rakha gaya(Whatever was required has been retained).”

“Sonam is a fantastic actress. She had a very comfortable equation with Pankaj and Shahid. If there were any aspersions whatsoever, they were cast aside during the course of the shoot,” the tabloid quotes Sheeta Talwar, producer of the film as saying.

Although it’s Sonam’s kissing debut, for Shahid, it’s his fouth time. He has locked lips with Kareena Kapoor (Jab We Met), Priyanka Chopra (Kaminey) and Anushka Sharma (Badmaash Company).

Launch of film 'Oh God! Saare Hain Fraud'

Oh God Saare Hai Fraud' Launch It's a fraudulent twist that wasn't sought divine blessings! And rightfully so, since it happened to be the launch event of the flick Oh God! Saare Hai Fraud. It was an evening to remember which saw a wonderful turnout of celebrities.
The lead pair of Shreyas Talpade and Mugdha Godse, looked every inch ravishing while Johnny Lever and Sharat Saxena lent a lot of spice to the glittering evening. Incidentally, it is after a long gap of 50 years that a Maharashtrian pair has been teamed in a Hindi film in the romantic lead.

In the presence of Ajay Nath Sahadeo, Mayor of Ranchi and S.K. Sinha, Superintendent of Police, Jharkand, all the four actors performed in front of the camera for the mahurat shot of the film Oh God! Saare Hai Fraud regaling everyone with their own inimitable brand of satirical comment on the political situation today. The veteran producer Pahalaj Nihalani was the chief guest of the evening, who blessed the producers. Dolly Bindra arrived late at the venue with her brother in tow, wearing a bandana and looking like a yogin'.

Salman Khan will do one film at a time due to health issues

Salman Khan has given three continuous hits to the industry with Wanted, Dabangg and Ready and is one of the top listed actors in the lists of the directors. The actor is busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie Bodyguard and has started off with Ek Tha Tiger. He has been having some niggling nerve problem and has therefore changed his plans a little. He has decided to do one movie at a time now.

Salman recently visited the doctors for some quick relief from the problem. Sohail Khan says, “Now that the problem has been identified, he has been taking medical advice. We`re in the process of finding out the best way to treat the problem. Insha Allah, all should be fine.”

A source said, “Lately, Salman has been shooting for his home production Bodyguard and for Yashraj Films’ Ek Tha Tiger simultaneously. He didn’t enjoy the overlapping of projects and has informed his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz that he would be shooting their films Sher Khan and Dabangg 2 respectively next year only. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Shirish Kunder have also been told that their Kick will start only at the beginning of next year. For the rest of this year, Salman will only focus on Ek Tha Tiger.”

We really hope the actor to get well soon as we love to see him on screen again and again.

John supports Anna by breaking anti-graft handi

Anna Hazare, who has been in talks for quite a time now has become popular not only in the northern region of the country but has also touch the actors in the South and west with his protest. The celebrities have started coming in support with the Gandhi of today and are doing something or the other to prove that they are in the favour of Anna Hazare.

The latest Bollywood spunk who has shown his concern for Anna is the hunk John Abraham who broke a special dahi handi named anti corruption handi with his forehead. “I am with Anna. All chors (thieves) should be thrown out,” said the actor after breaking the handi.

At the ceremony of breaking the handi on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birthday, the actor was wearing the Gandhi cap and cheered up for the girls team. He also interacted with the people there in Marathi.

The actor had entered the Industry as a model but became a successful actor with some hits like Jism, Kaal, Dhoom and more. He is coming back on screen again with an action movie in Force.

Prachi Desai turned a showstopper for designer Neeta Lulla

Prachi Desai is a complete package of innocence, style and talent. The actress is too young still and has grabbed every one’s attention through her very first daily soap Kasamh Se opposite Ram Kapoor. From that time till now, the actress has roped worth roles in her fist. Her first Hindi debut was Rock On opposite Farhan Akhtar and then her Once upon a Time in Mumbai rocked whole Bollywood.

Recently she was trapped while walking on the ramp in Lakme Fashion Week for ace designer Neeta Lulla. Her sweet smile, innocent look and elegant Indian attire (embroided Lehenga-choli) forced every one to take high sighs.

After the show, the actress was found doing hype praises for the designer. She told, “I don't think that there could be a better day. I am so glad that I walked for Neeta. I am very, very fond of all the design she makes. First time I wore her dress in Filmfare and I think that was one of the times when I looked best and I owe it to Neeta”.

Stressing on her decision to rope in Prachi as the showstopper for the show, Neeta explained, "The look of Prachi is very apt for girls. Prachi is the right muse for this kind of look. She is very traditional yet very contemporary”.

Kareena Kapoor is the first one to share Heroine's profit

Kareena Kapoor is one of the hottest and highly demanding actresses of Bollywood. Acting and hard work is in her blood as her forefathers also belong to the same industry. Despite all the things favoring her career in B-town she made her own way beating all odds.

Recently she got agreed for doing Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine, the project which was left in between by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan due to her pregnancy. But the things are not that much simple as they seems to be. Kareena for doing the movie has demanded a roaring amount of rupees eight crores with which the producers of the movie were not comfortable.

Finally the actress got agreed to cut down some amount but at the same time demanded share in profits from UTV.

A source close to the film informed, "Kareena had earlier demanded Rs 8 crore. After several meetings, she has now decided to slash her fee. However, she will now be a part of the profit sharing rights. The producers have worked it out in a way that Kareena ends up getting Rs 8 crore out of the project”.

In between we even had updates from UTV stating that Bebo isn’t a part of Heroine and now with this news regarding profit sharing we again are in a fix!

But if Kareena is doing Heroin with profit sharing we must say that she knows the right way of utilizing success!

The Architect of the Anna Hazare compaign

Shortly after Anna Hazare broke his fast-unto-death on 9 April, a group of young people encircled a small man with a black moustache at Jantar Mantar and began shouting the famous pre-independence slogan: Inquilab Zindabad! (Long Live Revolution!). He continued walking toward a group of cars when a young man wearing a red bandanna pushed through the crowd, blocking his way and screaming out, “Sir, don’t call off the fast. Repeat the revolution.” The man returned the smile, and slid into the car.

This man was Arvind Kejriwal, a 43-year-old social activist from East Delhi. Though Hazare is the recognised face of an anti-corruption campaign that began with his fast on 5 April, Kejriwal is the architect of the movement—the man journalists swarm to, seeking an interview. At press briefings, he often sits next to Hazare and helps the self-styled Gandhian handle tough questions: Kejriwal whispers into Hazare’s ear or scribbles key points on a piece of paper lying between them. When questions are posed to Kejriwal, he responds like an impassioned professor explaining a complicated problem—piling detail upon detail with the supreme confidence that his answer is the correct one. His essential message never changes: only a powerful independent anti-corruption agency, with wide-ranging authority and minimal government interference, can cure the plague of graft—and anything less will fail.

The ideas that would eventually lead to the Jan Lokpal Bill—and plans for a mass mobilisation to support it—had been on Kejriwal’s mind at least since September 2010, when public frustration with the inept preparations for the Commonwealth Games erupted into fury over evidence of widespread corruption. India’s middle classes, who already saw the event as a tremendous waste of money, were further enraged when the Games delivered nothing but international embarrassment and a multi-million rupee scam. Kejriwal, however, saw an opportunity to mobilise public opinion against corruption, and began to plot the course that would lead “Team Anna” into a high-profile showdown with the ruling United Progressive Alliance coalition. He spent his days consulting with experts and prospective allies, from lawyers to bankers to former bureaucrats and religious leaders, as well as his colleagues in the National Campaign for People’s Right to Information (NCPRI). He devoted his nights to drafting and revising a bill to create a new Lokpal: an independent body vested with the extraordinary powers—to investigate, prosecute and sometimes even judge—that Kejriwal thought necessary to prevent any politician or bureaucrat from obstructing the agency’s work

this is the festive season and we have festivals coming up back to back. Today, as we all know is Janmashtami, and the most notorious and the lovable Lord Krishna was born today. TellyBuzz hereby wishes all its readers and members across the world A Very Happy Janmashtami.

Have you got any idea who is the most benefited during festive season? Well we can say the makers and the actors associated with a daily soap. Wondering why? Because, they can stretch their episodes with pompous decorations and celebrations showing the rituals. Also the season is a good opportunity to display the best of costumes and jewellery for the ladies sections.

Since it is Janmashtami, we have several shows that celebrate the festival with pomp and pride; Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi (Zee TV), Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV) and Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga (Imagine). In fact, Imagine's new show Dharampatni began on the note of Janmashtami.

The festival does pave way for more creativity and open up the opportunities to bring in the best in the creative minds. The competition is high during such times as every show has to portray the festival in the most unique way possible. After all, it's just one festival and a number of shows to celebrate it. Certain shows make use of the situation and create a maha episode by merging the other shows of the channel. Some invite other television stars to perform for the festival. Certain shows use Krishna's blessings to bring out the darkest truth out of the vamps of the show. And some bring in the highest turning point in the show and make the leads fall in love. There are several options that lie in front of the creative team of the show.

Well, amidst all this, we must say that the shows indeed have a great hand in spreading the tradition and cultural values throughout the country and the world. For example, for people in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, it is just another festival where we get a holiday, obviously, and people keep a fast. Dahi Handi in this festival is one of the most awaited in North, but there is no Dahi Handi there, can you believe it! For the natives there, Dahi Handi and the swinging of Krishna in the cradle are all amusing aspects of the festival and new to them which they definitely would give a try. Wow, am I sounding like a festival expert here?

Well, I have learnt a lot from watching shows. In that sense let's call daily soaps culture-infotainment?

Esha Kopikkar met with an accident!

Two days before, something happened with Esha Kopikkar that still makes her numb to the soul when remembered. Yes guys as you read above, the actress met with an accident while she was travelling with the members of the unit of her upcoming flick “Shabri”. She was driving from Pune to Nashik when a speeding tempo came and banged into the car. Thankfully everyone could stretch out their legs and no one was hurt.

“Vaidehi, who is five months pregnant, was sitting in the front seat,” says Esha, “We reached Sangamner and decided to take a short break. Just then Vaidehi stepped out of the car and sat on a chair, a tempo rammed into our car, before steering off the road. And then, the tempo driver just vamoosed.”

Well, celebrities always have back up plans, so did they have another car and they went on to their path in the other car while some of them stayed back to file a complaint.

Esha who got married in the year 2009 to a restraunter is not planning to quit the industry as of now and has many scripts coming her way. We wish her all the best for her career.
