It is evident that the franchise of Hera Pheri has a great contribution in Akshay Kumar’s career, but in spite of this the idea to take it to the next level has gone kaput.
There are reports that the leading and prominent face of the Hera Pheri franchise, Akshay Kumar has pulled out from Hera Pheri 3. A source close to the actor has informed, “Akshay Kumar is said to have an ugly fall-out with the producer Firoz Nadiadwala and is unwilling to work with him. For a very long time the third part of Hera Pheri was stuck because Anees couldn`t lock in on a script. By the time he did, Firoz and Akshay had fallen out”.

There are several things famous about the starlets of B Town and Akki is also believed to be a die-hard friend to his filmmaker friends. But once he feels betrayed he never turns back with them and never unites. Seems this is the case between him and Firoz Nadiadwala because of which he wants to keep out of Hera Pheri 3.

Abhishek Bachchan gets hurt

Abhishek Bachchan gets hurt on the set of ‘Bol Bachchan’. He has suffered minor injuries on his head and legs when he fell down from a rickshaw. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

The actor then left for Mumbai in a plane after taking treatment in a private hospital. The actor tweeted, "Had a fall whilst filming a small action sequence in Jaipur. Have come back to Mumbai now and will resume work at the earliest... I will be fine. Can't say the same for the rickshaw!!! Banged him up good! Hehe...Thank you again for all the get well soon messages. The MUST and WILL go on. Lots of love and gratitude.(sic)."

Meanwhile, papa Amitabh Bachchan also tweeted and confirmed the accident. On his Twitter page, Big B wrote, "T 496 - Abhishek's had an accident on set in Jaipur, has just flown back .. 6 stitches near eye .. Is well .. Will take some days to recover."

'Bol Bachchan' has been written and directed by 'Singham' fame Rohit Shetty. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Asin, Prachi Desai and Archana Puran Singh in the lead roles.

The Rockstar actor did more than he believed he could to get his role right for the Imtiaz Ali film

Fear is what a good player faces and manages to beat. And Ranbir Kapoor proved that he is a true khatron ke khiladi during the shoot of Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar. You all know that Ranboo is afraid of heights; he has vertigo that is pretty severe, and tends to avoid any activity that involves him being up off the ground to any extent. But for his soon-to-release film, he was willing to grit his teeth and take that risk, without getting overly hassled or paranoid about it. We hear that Ranbir has been taking a deep and very personal interest in the film and thus had to help his director when he was asked to – Imtiaz wanted to shoot a sequence at a rock concert from a height, but he himself needed to be on the ground since it was a coordination nightmare otherwise. So he asked his star, Ranbir, to supervise the aerial takes, for which our hero has to be overlooking the stage from a chopper high above. And since the shoot was happening in Verona, Italy, it could not be delayed, since time was, literally, about more Euros than the budget allowed. But Ranbir, being the professional and determined to get the job done, managed to lean out of the helicopter, get the director of photography set up and going and thereby understand that height was all in the mind, nothing to be scared of! Now if our star-lad can do this, he can do almost anything, right? So we are waiting to see what he does next….

Ranbir Kapoor says Rockstar as a musical journey ...

These days the Kapoor boy, Ranbir is all excited for his upcoming movie Rockstar. He is also excited as it’s an Imtiaz Ali venture plus an American model Nargis Fakhri is debuting through this.

Through this movie, Ranbir wants to add one more feather of success in his cap and for this he is trying hard and doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned. He described the movie as a musical journey at a promotion event of the film.

"The film is a musical journey and a love story. A lot can be explained through the promos of the film on how the journey goes and when the film opens in theatres on November 11, 2011 you will discover yourself," Ranbir told.

"But, of course I play a Rockstar in the film, whose name is Janardhan Jakkad and who in the film would transform into the Rockstar Jordan," he added. The music of the movie is the central attraction besides its actors as Ranbir told it’s a musical journey and is going to be launched on September 20.

Talking about the music Imtiaz said, “It is parallel to the personality of the protagonist and is a mix of local flavor and the dominant western influence”.

Bollywood actor Imran Khan is in talks all around as his most anticipated film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan has finally released yesterday. The reviews are fine and critics have claimed it to be a must watch light hearted comedy for all. Now Imran Khan is set to add one more feather in his cap as he will be the one to join the panel of judges who will audition girls from all over the country

The time is running towards the 2011 Formula 1 Airtel Grand Prix of India and the exhilaration to be the 'face of the race is getting heated up day by day. Preparations are going on for the Airtel Grid Girls Hunt and the hunt will unfold in a series on zoom, popular entertainment channel.

There will be experts in the judging panel to pick up the girls and one of the major panel members will be fashion guru Prasad Bidapa. Other to chair the panel will be Pantaloons Femina Miss India-International 2011 Ankita Shorey, and adding star power will be actor Imran Khan.

Ali Zafar is in love with music ...

Pakistani pop icon Ali Zafar is doing well and winning high accolades in India that is in Bollywood. The musician cum actor has won several hearts through his movie debut only Tere Bin Laden. Recently his Mere Brother Ki Dulhan starring Katrina Kaif and Imran khan has hit the screens on last Friday and proved as a must watch movie.

In an interview the actor told that he has no plans to test the waters in Lollywood (the Pakistani film industry).

"Whatever films you do in India eventually reach theatres in Pakistan. The distributors in Pakistan told me that all the theatres there are booked for my next release," says Ali.

When Ali was being asked about neglecting his fan over in Pakistan, he completely denied the fact and told, “Though I do a lot of work here, I manage to divide my time between the two countries”.

Still Zafar is completely in love with music despite doing acting. He admits that music is his first priority, “I consider myself a musician first. Bollywood gives me a chance to stay in touch with my musical side as I also get an opportunity to sing," he says.

Well, Zafar has really made big in his small journey of career till yet and there is a lot more to come in his way.

Salman is number one - Aamir Khan

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has showered praises on Salman Khan and called him number one box office star. "I feel Salman is ahead of me. Considering the way his recent release 'Bodyguard' has broken all box office records if anyone, who is a number one box office star, then it is Salman," Aamir told reporters here last night, after launching the music of Sunil Bohra's forthcoming film, 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster'.
"He has proved with this movie that he is ahead of all of us. I am happy and my best wishes are always with him," he said.
Salman and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Bodyguard' that released on Eid, surpassed box office records of '3 Idiots' and 'My Name is Khan'. Salman was in the US for a nerve surgery when the movie received such a massive opening.
"I had a word with him and his health is much better now. I had given the news of massive opening of Rs 21 crore. I had sent a text to Alvira and asked her to pass the message to Salman after the surgery. I wanted to be the first one to give him the good news," Aamir said.
Even though Aamir and Salman have worked together for 'Andaz Apna Apna', the two stars have expressed their desire to work together time and again.
"I would love to work with Salman...we have a good tuning and it will be fun working together. But till we get a good script or something that excites us we will not come together for a film," Aamir said. About his friend Sunil Bohra's film, 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' Aamir said, "I am here to give my best wishes to him and the team. The title of the film is nice and the promo and characters look interesting."

Salman Khan will resume shooting from next week after surgery

Salman Khan is actually Sal-Man as his good friend Preity Zinta calls him. There are reports that Salman will not stay away from shooting inspite of his surgery and will resume working from 10th of September. Hospital beds are not meant for action heroes like him and Salman has proved this very right.

It is important to note that Salman Khan was in US last week and had undergone a non-invasive surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia in Pittsburgh. The surgery has not come as a break for Salman and there are reports that he is planning to get back in action in no time post his surgery.

The latest release of Salman Khan is Bodyguard which is a huge hit and claimed to be the highest grosser till date. There are reports that Salman’s operation lasted more than eight hours and there is possibility that he will be required for one more session.

This has come as a surprise to one and all that Salman has been recovering quite fast and is expected to join the crew of the film Ek Tha Tiger in Dublin on September 10. Atul Agnihotri said, “Salman has to get a check-up done in three months to decide if he needs to get a second procedure done. He should commence shooting for Yash Raj soon in Dublin. He is en route to recovery, defying post-operation instructions. That's Salman for you”.

Shahid Kapoor turns weatherman for 'Mausam'

Shahid Kapoor is to become a weatherman on Indian television for a day to promote the romantic film Mausam.

The film, also starring Sonam Kapoor, marks the directorial debut of the actor's father Pankaj.

Pankaj told Hindustan Times: "Mausam is about seasons of love and not exactly about the weather.

"However, the marketing team came up with this unique idea and everyone loved it. We are working on getting the required permissions for it now. I'm sure it will be interesting."

Shahid will officially become an employee for the day at India's Meteorological Department.

Mausam, which centres on a love affair between a Punjabi air force pilot and a Kashmiri woman, has already faced controversy.

Kapoor learnt his father's native language specifically for the role.

One of the trailers for the film could be banned under animal welfare laws because it features a cow, unless the producers receive clearance from the Animal Welfare Board.

Shahid has already held one open screening for his fans to get a "first look" at the release.

Imran Khan clarifies the reason behind quitting from twitter!

Actor Imran Khan has a huge fan following when it comes to the youth of the nation! Right from his debut film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, he has been enjoying this fan attention. Though in between the actor faced failures in the form of Kidnap and Luck, but his followers are still the same.

In fact, films like I Hate Love Storys and the recently released Delhi Belly has made the graph go higher for Imran. The youth is simply crazy about this blue eyed boy but the only thing that disappoints them is Imran’s absence from social networking site twitter.

The actor who is said to be a tech savvy was once an active member on twitter but he just distanced himself from it all of a sudden and even got his account deactivated. His fans were highly disheartened by this act, all wanted to know as to why he did that.

Well, the actor has finally come up with the reason behind. He said, "I didn't like Twitter as a mode of communication. There are people who make nasty comments about you, who don't even know you! I prefer personal interaction. I would like to sit down with my fans and talk to them instead. I have deactivated my account and don't think will reactivate it”.

The star with undiminished popularity despite personal and professional vicissitudes, the star with the most consistently strong box office record spanning almost two decades, the actor who has proved himself to be a master of all genres, whether romance, action, drama, or comedy. No experience of Bollywood is complete without his films, no student of Hindi films can neglect him, and no future writer of Bollywood history can ignore him. His place in the canon of Hindi cinema is assured, for making films of wide and lasting impact, for setting trends that became the industry standard, for creating a unique style that is immediately identifiable and yet versatile.

And yet, when a fan who has fallen under his spell wants to learn more about him, there is surprisingly little information available. This is not because of a lack of coverage by the media.
