Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has always created her own place in the Film industry, in the hearts of the people and also in the list of awards. She has cast a spell over everyone with her elegance, charm and acting. The actress has been receiving awards for her acting and has recently been honored with the Pazhassiraja Purashkaram - Abhinaya Kaala Ratna by the Pazhassi Raja Charitable Trust.
Apart from Ash, Lata Mangeshkar and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar were also honored with the awards. Earlier it has been only Amitabh Bachchan who was honored with this award from the film industry, but now Aishwarya and Lata Ji have entered the category.
Though Ash was not able to attend the ceremony due to her family commitments, she sent her message all over saying, “I'd like to dedicate this award to every professional I've worked with throughout my career and to all my audiences in India and the world over for their love, support and blessings.....and my family!”
The ceremony which was supposed to be held at Delhi and was to be graced by the President had to change the plans and was held at Mumbai due to the sad demise of his Highness Sankara Varma (the senior Raja of Pazhassi Kovilalam).
Well, congratulations to Aishwarya and the whole of Bachchan family and may the family keeps rising as always.
