A R Rahman is India’s pride! He won the heart of each and every Indian through his music in Indian movies in many languages over the years. He went on to do the same when he worked on Hollywood film ‘Slumdog Millionaire‘, which also earned him two coveted Oscars for his music. He is on a roll right now and fast acquiring the reputation of a truly global musician. Rahman was working on various Hollywood movies of late, including the Oscar nominated 127 Hours (directed by Danny Boyle), but nobody did know that A R Rahman was contemplating the idea of joining a US band! Although he and his fellow band members have been working on the album for sometime now, it was kept as a secret until last May. Now, the band has just released their single titled ‘Miracle Worker‘ where every single band member is featured in it, including Rahman. The album is supposed to get an official release in September. In the mean time, the band has just released the song ‘Satyameva Jayate‘, an Indian tune composed by A R Rahman (video is not yet available for this song).
