People ask elected representatives to ‘represent’ them

The people’s movement of India against Corruption grows stronger as Anna’s fast completes a week. Indeed this is a welcome moment for our democracy that people are demanding accountability, and asking their MPs’ to make clear their stand on Jan Lokpal. In various places across the country, people peacefully gathered outsode theri MPs houses, other elected representatives too were appealed to similarly. Let this be underlined that we are going to our parliamentarians, who are the ultimate legislators, who shall be the ones enacting the Bill in the parliament.

Events happening across the country:

Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Cjandrashekhar addressed a 3000 strong public meeting at Freedom Park, Bangalore in support of the Jan Lokpal bill that he has submitted in parliament on August 8.

Baroda MP Balu Shukla, Rajendra Singh from Bhavnagar and P. Kiritbhai Solanki has declared written support to Anna Hazare. Contact: Vinod – 09825551238
